“I Wanna Get Loaded”
Got to see Primal Scream last night in the Savoy, Cork - for Free! Great venue, holds a few hundred people. Perfect to see Bobby Gillespie rocking it out, well holding onto the microphone for his life. Munster v Blacks was on before the gig and was fairly drunk watching that so the gig is a bit of blur but everyone has pointed out to me that I went wild inside and why not? Drinks why.
Guns N’ Roses long awaited “Chinese Democracy” has finally surfaced onto the internet, full release not just half assed songs or those bootlegs of their new songs, this is the real deal. It’s downloading as I type this so looking forward to listening to it, heard the title track a few days ago, its not bad. I was expecting worse.
Killers new album should be appearing soon, wasn’t a fan of Hot Fuss but I think Sam’s Town is a great album, a nice pop album. But their new song “Human” and “Spaceman” haven’t made an impression, suppose will have to see how the album is once it hits the shelves.
Absolutley knackered after the gig, Ross cooked us a massive fry-up this morning, it’s the only cure after a good night of drinking. It was great being back down in Cork but looking back on what I was up to in UCC and what Im doing now in LIT - I’m happy that I’m progressing in life again!
I’m currently working on the site so if things appear as if they shouldn’t don’t fret, I’m re-designing the site so Im bound to make things break. Hold On..
edit: Yeah things are falling into place but I’m not quite finished, content has to be added. I have a nice list of useful websites and a list of 
for people in uni who can’t access their favourite websites. I will be testing all of these in LIT tomorrow, none of the sites will mention so the filter shouldn’t be able to pick up what your doing. Thats why the p word is an image in this post.
I’ve got Primal Scream tomorrow night in Cork, myself, Duni and Rory are heading down to go some serious boozing with Ross, looking forward to it.
There seems to be mroe and more music organisations popping up around the country especially those promoted by drink companies. The likes of Bud Rising & Heineken Green Spheres have been heavily promoted around the country for the past while. I attened a Bud Rising gig back in 2005 with Cormac in Galway. We saw The Zutons supported by Republic of Loose, Corm still claims it was the best gig he has ever been to but he was also shit faced. Though not a bad gig, not a great gig.
I back tracked through the archives there to see if I could find a blog post on The Zuton’s gig but there is a massive gap between December 2004 - November 2005. A mySQL error if I remember correctly, I deleted a load of tables by accident scripting a few years ago.
Anyway myself and Rory managed to get our hands on 4 tickets to go see Primal Scream which is being hosted by the Heineken Green Spheres. I don’t think anyone in their right mind has any issue with Screamadelica, it being a fine album though Im not too sure about their other albums. Im not pushed, its a night out in that fine City Cork. It’s going to be great hitting The Bróg again after a year absence. Tiernan and Ross are accomplices for the night and what a night it will be.
