Being a cheapskate has its high points.. For example I didn’t want to fork out €130 for an upgrade of the Macintosh operating system and with the internet being a gateway for piracy I knew there was a way to upgrade my Macbook for free. Sadly all the tutorials to do this simply involved a macintosh with a dual layer burner, unfortunatley my macbook only has a standard CD drive.

I had to strip the .dmg file of some of the unnecessary parts such as Xcode and Printer and Language drivers but burning a .dmg on windows proved to be tricky. Hundreds of comments of people going wrong and ending up with useless DVDs. Im going to post a tutorial of my own here later on (once Leopard finishes installing) once Im 100% it works.

Other than that life has been quiet, did a bit of experimenting with Acid on Friday. Fun times. Theres a remix of “MGMT - Kids” on Justice’s myspace, check it out.
